Anime worth watching on Netflix

Welcome back guys, its been a while! Due to lots of work and life I have been very ghost which is very unfortunate because I love blogging about my favorite thing in the whole world! I have thought about what will be my next blog topic and I thought about Netflix. So I recently got Netflix again and was curious about their anime selection, I personally wouldn’t bother majority of the stuff there is ok but not wowwww. I did see some that are worth watching and some that I started to watch and so far have left a good impression. I will just be listing in random order the series I’ve seen and my thoughts. Keep in mind Im listing Netflix series only but at the bottom I will briefly list good ole original anime that are now available to watch on Netflix.

Devilman Crybaby

I have not watched any of the previous Devilman movies/series/read the manga. Actually, I randomly stumbled upon this and decided to watch the first episode. And all I have to say is WOW. The art is awesome. The story is awesome. The psychological aspect of the anime is awesome. Some people dislike the art (the animation style is a little different) I also noticed a lot of people feel like there was something missing and more could of been done with the story. I personally enjoyed the series very much and took it one episode at a time, sometimes we jump into a series expecting so much instead of just appreciating whats given.

The disastrous life of Saiki K

This is one of the funniest anime that I’ve seen. Every single element about this show works, the great voice acting both sub and dub, the comedic timing, the characters, the simplistic art style. I never heard of it I just saw the trailer and decided to give it a try and I was very happy to have given it a chance. You won’t be disappointed with this one, definitely recommend this series.

Children of the Whales

I wasn’t going to list this series but since I did spend about 5 hours watching the whole thing I minus well share my personal opinion on it. If I would have to rate this anime I will give it like a 5 out of 10 starts, I found the art very beautiful the use of color on this series was awesome, some of the scenes wowed me. What disappointed me about the series was the actual story, it just wasn’t consistent, so much information missing I personally feel that it was lacking so much and I felt so disappointed after watching the entire series . I was irritated with the whole thing, in the first 4 to 5 episodes I felt like it was going somewhere with the story then you’re like WTF did I just watch. Its still a nice series and a lot of the character are so likable but I think more could of been done and explained.

B: The Beginning

This series definitely caught me by surprise, it was on my suggestion list and I was very happy that I decided to watch it.  First I would come out and say that this is one of the better anime shows currently airing on Netflix. As an avid fan of horror and mystery, I felt that this show resonated with me and kept me anxious and anticipating. This show suffers from a lot of things happening at the same time that you start to lose track of a few key plot lines. But it does not lose traction and the climax is satisfying enough to tie all the loose ends towards the end of the last episode. The characters are some of the most well written ones in recent anime. Despite all the bad things going on the show the setting is made to look so pleasant, art defiantly was on point. I hands down suggest to give this one a shot if you want some mystery, action, dark moments and light hearted comedy. Only thing I wish Netflix would of done is make it longer, I get depressed when I finish a series in just a few hours.

If you have missed these, please watch as well.

So in this section I will briefly just list series that have been out and that are love by many of us anime enthusiast!

  • One Punch Man
  • Attack on Titan
  • HunterXHunter
  • Durarara
  • Bleach
  • Full Metal Alchemist
  • The Seven Deadly Sins

Theres some pretty good stuff on there thats been out but as far as new series I still feel like they need to step up their game and provide us with better quality anime. Alot of people have brought up the show Castlevania, I have not watched it fully. There something about I that just doesnt get my attention which sucks because theres so many people that thing is such a great show. If you think I should give it a try please comment below and since this is all about spreading knowledge please comment some of your favorite anime series or movies! Till next time, Sayonara!
